Students seeking the Developmental Therapy Credential must possess a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:

  • Child Development
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Early Childhood Special Education
  • Elementary Education
  • Special Education

Early Childhood Special Letter of Approval on an Early Childhood or Special Education Professional Teaching License

  • MEC 507 Typical and Atypical Language Development of the Young Child/Emergent Literacy (3 hours)
  • MEC 512 Early Childhood Assessment (3 hours)
  • MEC 514 Early Childhood Special Education Methods (3 hours)
  • MEC 528 Working with Families of Young Children Typical and Atypical in Community Relationships (3 hours)
