Dr. Greenleaf, the founding director of the criminal justice major at Elmhurst College, is a former police sergeant in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and executive director of the Community Policing Institute in Oregon. His specialty is in criminological theory and international policing. He has published his research in numerous journals, including Criminology, Journal of Research in Crime and DelinquencyAsian Journal of CriminologyJournal of Criminal JusticeJournal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice and Western Criminological Review. He has been an invited speaker at numerous universities in the People’s Republic of China, including Hua Zhong University (Wuhan), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (Chengdu), and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. Dr. Greenleaf is a member of the American Society of Criminology and the Association of Chinese Criminal Justice and Criminology.
