Elmhurst Hospital to Host COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall Nov. 19

The following message was sent by President Troy VanAken to the campus community on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020:

To the Campus Community:

I hope you all are safe and well. I wanted to let you know that tomorrow (Thursday) evening, Elmhurst Hospital will host a virtual community town hall to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and its local impact. The town hall will feature Elmhurst Hospital leaders and medical staff, as well as Elmhurst Mayor Steve Morley.

As members of the Elmhurst community, on campus and beyond, you’re welcome to attend. More information, including how to access the town hall, is below.

COVID-19 Virtual Community Town Hall

Thursday, Nov. 19
7:00–8:00 p.m.

Join Mary Lou Mastro (System CEO) and Dr. Sanjeeb Khatua (Chief Physician Executive and COVID-19 Incident Commander) as they provide an update on how Elmhurst Hospital and Edward-Elmhurst Health are handling the surge of coronavirus cases.

They’ll be joined by Elmhurst Mayor Steve Morley, who will discuss the impact COVID-19 is having on his city.

In addition, a team of Edward-Elmhurst Health medical experts will have the latest information on testing, treatment and development of a vaccine.
