Fall 2021 Term COVID-19 Testing Information

September 9, 2021 | by the Elmhurst University COVID-19 Task Force

Dear Campus Community:

The University will offer two forms of on-campus COVID-19 tests, PCR and rapid tests, every week for all students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Please Note: Out of an abundance of caution for our campus community and those conducting testing, please refrain from testing on campus if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, such as a fever or chills. Instead, please get tested at one of the several off-campus testing locations in the area. If your test results are positive, please begin isolating immediately and complete the COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form.

PCR Tests

Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Please arrive by 1:45 p.m.

Pre-registration will be required for those seeking a PCR test who do not have an approved exemption. Anyone with an exemption may show their Jaypass at check-in to be tested. Those who do not have an exemption may sign up for testing using the link below each time they would like a test.

Rapid Tests

Thursdays, 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Please arrive by 1:45 p.m.

Rapid test will be administered on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary.

Test Location

Gym Lobby, Faganel Hall

Enter the building through the main south entrance on Walter Street

Cost: There is no cost for PCR or rapid tests.

Test Results

You will be contacted only if your results are positive. Those with negative results will not be contacted.
