Announcing a call for playwrights and those eager to stretch their writing muscle: we have an event for you.
We welcome students, staff, faculty, and alums to participate as writers in the workshops.
Six to 10 playwrights will write ten-minute plays under the mentorship of Dr. Lance Wilcox and Dr. Janice Tuck-Lively. Writing workshops will be held on campus. Preparation? Character ideas and a situation. Must attend all three workshops in order to have your play performed at the festival.
Also announcing a call for actors: the two-person plays crafted call for actors to participate in a first reading, a rehearsal with the revised script, and two staged readings for an audience. (For the safety of the audience and performers, cast members must be vaccinated.) Andrew Behling and Michael Manocchio will direct.

- Thursday, Feb. 10, at Noon
Playwright Signup is due. Confirmations and room information sent out by end of business on 2/10 or sooner. - Saturday, Feb. 12, 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Writer workshop 1: Writers and mentors - Monday, Feb. 14, at Noon
Acting Video Audition due. Submit a 90-second monologue performance recording and upload a youtube link in the audition form. - Saturday, Feb. 19, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Writer workshop 2: Writers and mentors - Thursday, Feb. 24
Casting complete. Actors will be notified by end of business on 2/24 or sooner. - Saturday, Feb. 26 2/26, 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Mill Theatre
First reading (Workshop 3): writers, mentors, directors, actors - March 1–3, 7:00–10:00 p.m.
Rehearsal Slots (one session per script): Directors and actors - Saturday, March 5–Sunday, March 6, 8:00 p.m. at the Mill Theatre
