On National Coming Out Day, this celebration of spirit, words and music honors the 50th anniversary of the ordination of Elmhurst alumnus William R. Johnson, the first openly gay person to be ordained to the Christian ministry. The event includes a panel of speakers reflecting on spirituality and human sexuality, and a call to advocacy. Sponsored by the Elmhurst University Chaplaincy and the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ.
