Learn about Elmhurst's AP Human Geography graduate certificate program.
Tim Ricordati tells the Business Ledger how the School for Professional Studies is designing innovative, attractive ways to help businesses through education.
More than 113,000 students took the AP® Human Geography exam in 2013 and it is estimated that there are 3,200 AP® Human Geography teachers nationwide. As demand for AP® Human Geography exams increase, so will the demand for qualified teachers. It is the single fastest growing subject in the AP® disciplines.
Designed specifically for secondary educators, the Graduate Certificate in Human Geography for AP® program focuses on teaching spatial concepts as well as basic themes, skills and perspectives of AP® Human Geography and how to apply them in the classroom.
In small, cohort-based classes, you’ll work with experienced educators and professionals—and earn a certificate in less than a year. The program is offered entirely online through the Elmhurst College Online Center, providing the convenience teachers want—and need.
The program curriculum correlates directly with the AP® Human Geography Course Description. For more information about the Graduate Certificate in Human Geography for AP® program at Elmhurst College, please browse our course offerings or contact us.
