We are pleased to announce the 5th annual Graduate Student Scholarship Competition that recognizes graduate and doctoral students who are pursuing the next step in their education to expand their service and leadership skills. The application is now open.

Format

Students who are admitted to a degree-seeking graduate or doctoral program for Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 are invited to participate in the competition.*

Next Steps

• Submit your graduate application and complete your application file by June 1, 2024.
• Once your application is complete, you will receive access to the Scholarship Competition application. Complete your scholarship application by June 15, 2024. With your application, submit a short video (3 minutes maximum) that includes the following:
  • How will pursuing this degree enhance your approach to leadership and community service?
  • How do you view service and leadership as it relates to your career or future career?
  • Creatively share how earning this scholarship will allow you to give back to the Elmhurst University community.

The winner will be announced at our New Graduate Student Reception on August 15, 2024.

• First Place: A renewable half-tuition scholarship for up to two years of graduate or doctoral study.
• All competition participants will receive a $500 renewable scholarship for up to two years of graduate study.

*Only those admitted to a master’s or doctoral degree program for Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 are eligible to participate. International students and students receiving a partnership tuition discount are not eligible to participate.
