Matchbox Car: Collision

Initially, both cars undergo projectile motion, tracing out a parabolic path. Momentum is always conserved in the collisions, and little kinetic energy is transformed to unrecoverable forms. However, the kinetic energy is not limited to linear motion and an amount of rotational kinetic energy is obtained. Even so, the collisions are close to elastic, as there is not much total kinetic energy loss.
