An interdisciplinary major with courses drawn from the departments of Kinesiology, Communication and Business, the sport management major will build your knowledge of the sports industry, introduce and enhance application of key concepts and elevate critical industry-related skills. This includes emphasis upon critical-thinking, data inquiry and analysis, decision-making, communication, networking and leadership as related to current industry standards and trends, governance, policy, ethics, media and intersection with society.
