A new Illinois law, backed by the College, will help undocumented students.
First-generation college students face challenges, but at Elmhurst, they find the support they need.
The White House recently recognized Elmhurst College for the powerful ways in which it fostered interfaith understanding as part of a nationwide campaign.
In and out of the classroom, Elmhurst College is committed to your success. Guided by the College’s core values, our ten departments in the Division of Student Affairs will support your progress toward becoming a responsible critical thinker, engaged in your community and the world; an active architect of your physical and spiritual wellness; and aware of your role and responsibility in an intercultural world.
Student Affairs staff will both challenge and support you as you explore your values and pursue your academic and personal goals. We offer many opportunities for you to engage in shaping your own Elmhurst Experience, from joining a student organization to serving in a leadership role to living on our beautiful campus.
We also offer a wide array of services and resources designed to help you navigate the pressures of college life. Staff members in the Division of Student Affairs can help you manage a crisis, interpret campus policies and procedures, and locate the appropriate campus resources. Among our services are individual counseling, support with housing issues, comprehensive health care services, transition assistance and diversity education.
I encourage you to take advantage of the many services, resources and opportunities available to you at the College.
Enjoy your Elmhurst Experience!
With warm regards,
Eileen G. Sullivan, Ph.D.
