Calling All ‘Newjays’!
Welcome to Elmhurst University! To help your transition to Elmhurst, we created a new innovative program, “New to ElmU.”
This individualized program aims to help all new students—both first-year and transfer—get acclimated to campus, meet peers, understand academic expectations and transition into the Bluejay family.
New to ElmU has a variety of events, topics and resources just for new students. A lot of times new students are not sure where to start or where they can go as they navigate their first year on a new campus. This rings true for both new first-year students who have not been to college before and for transfer students who are getting acclimated to a different college campus.
New to ElmU offers:
- Activities and programs created just for new students.
- How-to videos and other peer-to-peer tips.
- Links to frequently used resources that every Bluejay should know about.
