A Place for Successful Students
The Learning Center offers academic support for all Elmhurst University students.
We will help you develop personal habits of mind and individualized practices that contribute to your academic growth beyond one assignment or one class.
During the Fall and Spring terms, the Learning Center offers in-person and online tutoring in chemistry, French, kinesiology, math, music theory, physics, political science, psychology, Spanish, statistics, theatre and writing. The center also offers study groups in subjects such as biology, chemistry and math, and academic workshops on a variety of topics, including time management, study strategies and critical reading.
Additional tutoring is available at other locations on campus. For tutoring in areas not offered in the Learning Center, talk with your instructor or the department chair.
Access and Disability Services
The Learning Center also houses the Office of Access and Disability Services. Elmhurst University will make reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities based on the presentation of appropriate documentation. For more information, please visit the office’s website.
