The Learning Center

A Place for Successful Students

The Learning Center offers academic support for all Elmhurst College students.

We will help you develop personal habits of mind and individualized practices that contribute to your academic growth beyond one assignment or one class.

Areas of Tutoring

We offer assistance with math, statistics, writing, study strategies/academic reading, and test preparation for exams such as the ACT, SAT, GRE or TAP.

During the fall and spring terms, areas of tutoring offered in the Learning Center include math, statistics, writing, biology, kinesiology, psychology, study strategies/academic reading and test preparation for exams such as the ACT, SAT, GRE or TAP. Additional tutoring is available at other locations.

The Learning Center also houses the Office of Access and Disability Services. Elmhurst College will make reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities based on the presentation of appropriate documentation. For more information, please visit the office’s website.
