Careers and Outcomes

An art education at Elmhurst University leads to a wide variety of exciting careers.

Many of our students successfully pursue graduate study in the visual arts; others go directly into rewarding careers as web designers, working artists, teachers, curators and art directors.

• Evan Haase ’15, high school art teacher at Hinsdale South High School
• Hannah Manocchio, BFA ’13, owner of a screen printing business, Snakes + Acey’s, in Cleveland, Ohio
• Carolyn Hartmann ’13, art business, previously worked in marketing at the Elmhurst Art Museum before going to graduate school at University of Manchester, England
• Margaret Callahan ’12, Art Business, Graphic Conservation Co., Chicago
• Danielle Wagner ’12, earned an MFA in Visual Communications at Northern Illinois University, graphic designer at North Central College
• Jonathan Reiman ’12, a visual arts teacher at Kenwood Academy High School on Chicago’s South Side, who won an Oppenheimer Foundation Grant to fund his ongoing research in antiquarian photography
• Danielle Dobies ’12, earned a master of fine arts at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, and worked with NIU’s Department of Women’s Studies to design and execute a mosaic mural on campus
• Matthew McGuire ’11, a high school art teacher in Chicago
• Maria Marotta ’10, an elementary art teacher in Northlake
