Support Elmhurst Theatre

Empower a New Generation of Artists

The Elmhurst University Department of Theatre and Dance thanks our generous friends and patrons who support our students’ Elmhurst experience and enrich our productions with financial contributions.

Gifts may be designated to support any of the following funds:

The Festival Fund

Helps students attend and participate in the annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Students can compete in acting and design competitions as well as attend workshops developing skills in all areas of theatre.

The Student Production Fund

Was first established by Elmhurst University theatre students to financially assist student-directed and -produced shows.

The Mill Theatre Fund

Support theatre production needs outside the operating budget. Gifts to this fund have assisted the program in maintaining and updating equipment and tools and given designers and technicians the opportunity to work with new and unusual materials in Mill Theatre productions.

The Kristin Spangler Scholarship Fund

This fund was established by friends and alumni to create an endowed scholarship in honor and memory of Elmhurst University Theatre professor, director, mentor and colleague Kristin Spangler, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2009.
