Star Transfer Scholarship: $2,000 Annually
Eligibility
- Membership in Star Scholars Program at one of the City Colleges of Chicago
- Cumulative transfer GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application

Star Plus Program Scholarship $5,000 Annually
- Accepted by Elmhurst University
- Offered by the City Colleges of Chicago
- Can be stacked on top of scholarships offered by Elmhurst University

- Transfer for a spring term start date
- Membership in Star Scholars Program at one of the City Colleges of Chicago

City Colleges of Chicago Award: $2,000 Annually

- Transfer student whose current or most recently attended institution is one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago.
*Scholarships are stackable and can build on top of what is offered in merit scholarship and other scholarship offered by Elmhurst University.
Guaranteed admission is a cooperative relationship between the City Colleges of Chicago and Elmhurst University to better serve students and facilitate their transfer process.
Guaranteed transfer admission agreements provide students seamless transfer to earn their bachelor’s degrees. Our dual enrollment program provides City Colleges of Chicago students with the opportunity to earn an associate degree while getting a head start on their bachelor’s degree from Elmhurst University.
Students immerse themselves in the Elmhurst community while completing course work at the City Colleges of Chicago. As a dual enrollment participant, students have access to Elmhurst courses, extra-curricular activities, events, faculty, staff, advising and can even live on campus.
Students can take advantage of these opportunities while limiting some of the financial burden that comes along with seeking a bachelor’s degree, with one of the most attractive pieces of dual enrollment, is that the Elmhurst courses will be offered at the community college rate.
Throughout their two years of study at the City Colleges, students will be in touch with their Elmhurst University Transfer Admission Counselor to ensure that they are taking the courses best suited for their area of study including required prerequisites, before transferring to Elmhurst.
