A prize-winning historian and Emmy Award nominee, Randall Balmer holds the John Phillips Chair in Religion at Dartmouth College. He will discuss his latest book, “Bad Faith: Race and the Rise of the Religious Right” at Elmhurst University on Tuesday, Oct. 26. An Episcopal priest, Balmer is the author of more than a dozen books, including “Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory: A Journey into the Evangelical Subculture in America” and “Redeemer: The Life of Jimmy Carter.”
