“Salute to America” Summer Band Concert

Kick off the Fourth of July weekend by joining us for a live concert of patriotic music and music by American composers.
The concert will feature music by Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Irving Berlin and John Williams. Music from Broadway musicals, movie soundtracks, light classics, novelty pieces, and marches sure to get your foot tapping will be on the program. The concert is free and will be presented at The Gates of Knowledge on the Elmhurst University campus.
Parking is available on campus or across the street at the Wilder Mansion. Pack up the lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets, and join us for music on a summer evening as we salute America. In case of excessive heat or rain, the concert will be performed in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the Elmhurst University campus.
