Elmhurst University Counseling Services

We’re here to help—whether you’re stressed about finals or experiencing psychological concerns, Elmhurst University’s counseling staff provides a multitude of services including individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy and workshops.

Location: Niebuhr Hall, Lower Level

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Uwill

NEW for the 2023 school year: We are pleased to announce a partnership with Uwill, the leading student mental health and wellness solution. Uwill offers undergraduate students free immediate access to teletherapy through its easy to use online platform, as well as a mental health crisis line. Uwill is Private. Secure. Confidential.

To Schedule Teletherapy:

  • Register/login to Uwill and choose a therapist based on your preferences.

If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis:

  • Call (833) 646-1526 for help 24/7/365
  • If you are experiencing a medial emergency, call 911.
  • If you need any assistance, you can refer to the Uwill FAQ, Student User Guide or reach out directly to Uwill at support@uwill.com.

MANUAL CARE is an innovative men’s resource and engagement center, thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of men.

To access this tool, visit MANUAL and enter your Elmhurst University email address.

TAO Connect

TAO is an online mental health platform available to faculty, staff and students. TAO provides a variety of resources for understanding and managing mental health issues.

Please follow the steps below to get started.

  1. In your browser window, navigate to visit TAO.
  2. Enter your first name, last name, and Elmhurst University email address.
  3. Create a password and confirm your password.
  4. Leave the “Enrollment Key” field blank.
  5. Click “Sign Me Up.”
  6. Check your email. You will be sent a “Welcome to TAO” email with a confirmation link, which you must click on to sign in.

Learning Center

The Learning Center offers academic support for all Elmhurst University students. We will help your student develop personal habits of mind and individualized practices that contribute to their academic growth beyond one assignment or one class.
