Please join us for a discussion featuring alumni Joey Carrillo. Joey is a former Equal Justice Works (EJW) Fellow and Family Law attorney in Illinois. As a former EJW fellow, Joey ran the LGBTQ+ Anti-Violence and Safety Project at Legal Aid Chicago where he represented LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic violence.
Today, Joey owns his own firm, Equity Law, LLC, where he is a sole practitioner focusing his practice on domestic relations cases (child custody, divorce, prenuptial agreements, orders of protection), guardianships for minors and adults with disabilities and estate planning cases.
