The Office of Information Services provides technology and connectivity services for the entire Elmhurst College community.
Among our services are high-speed internet access, modern technology workspaces, cloud-based communication and collaboration services, virtual computing resources and full-service help desk support. Students, faculty, and staff may access technology resources both on or off campus through My Elmhurst Campus Portal, the gateway to technology at Elmhurst.
The Office of Information Services is located on the second floor of Goebel Hall and consists of four functional areas.
Technology Support Services
Technology support services is home to the help desk. If you need assistance, start here. This group supports hardware, software, systems, network connectivity, technology account access and more.
The enterprise applications group provides information systems to support campus operations in relation to technology needs. This is managed through a variety of processes, including system design, analysis and maintenance, as well as application development and implementation, product evaluation, and training and troubleshooting.
Institutional Research and Assessment
The institutional research and assessment team gathers, assembles, analyzes and communicates data from a variety of on- and off-campus sources. The area also serves as the primary data resource for the College’s academic, extracurricular and administrative assessment and program review efforts.
The infrastructure group maintains the College’s wired and wireless data networks, telephony systems and servers. This area ensures convenient access to College systems and the internet from all campus buildings and residence halls.
