Honors Program Graduating Seniors
Honors Program Global Scholars are students who successfully completed 26 semester hours (6.5 Honors credits) including a research component of a rigorous Honors curriculum with a grade of B or better, and have successfully completed a credit-bearing study abroad experience.

Honors Program Undergraduate Research Grants
Through the generosity of donors, Honors Program Undergraduate Research Grants, including Swords Scholar Grants, are competitively awarded to support the research work of Honors Program students. Swords Scholars are named in recognition of the pioneering work of Robert and Barbara Swords, who began the Elmhurst University Honors Program in 1965.

Honors Program Summer Fellows
The Summer Fellows Program encourages and increases independent undergraduate research. The Summer Fellows is restricted to students with junior or senior standing (conducting research after their sophomore or junior years), undertaken with the supervision of a faculty mentor. Summer grants are awarded through a highly competitive process.
