Admission Requirements

Ready to advance your career?

At Elmhurst University, we try to make the graduate application process as simple—and friendly—as possible.

Applicants for the Master of Science in Computer Information Technology must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college. A general knowledge of computer programming and basics of computer network is expected; otherwise students are expected to take MIT 300.

Prerequisite courses may be recommended for students without a bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related work experience. The program director will determine the need for and recommend the prerequisites, if needed. The program does not require students to submit graduate examination scores.
