Penny Reiss
Penny Reiss, Ph.D., R.N.
Associate Professor, Nursing and Health Sciences
Dr. Reiss received her Ph.D. from Loyola University in May of 2005 and studied quality of nursing care using a patient perspective.
Dr. Reiss’ specialty areas are adult health and complex medical-surgical nursing. She maintains membership in the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She teaches in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
Her areas of interest are outcome measurement, quality of care, and geriatric complex care.
