Bluejays, join us for our next Alumni Virtual Book Club event where we continue to learn and grow together through Elmhurst University.
As part of the Actions Speak Louder Than Words Challenge, we are continuing this important conversation around diversity, equity and inclusion in our next club pick. Together, we will read and discuss Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think, and Do by Jennifer L. Eberhardt.
This month’s event will be led by Dr. Mary Kay Mulvaney, director of the Honors Program and professor of English, along with special faculty guest Dr. Mladen Turk, assistant faculty director of the Honors Program and professor of religious studies.
This event is complimentary to all alumni. All you need to do is pick up your own copy of Biased and read at your own pace. Then, join us via Zoom and prepare for a thoughtful discussion of the reading with your fellow alumni.
