Please join the Elmhurst community to Walk for ChicagoSurvivors.org! This fundraising walk benefits Chicago Survivors, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides multi-cultural crime victim/survivor support to surviving family members following homicide in Chicago.
Proceeds will support Chicago Survivors summer Healing Camp for youth impacted by homicide in Chicago. The summer Healing Camp responds to the needs of young people impacted by trauma associated with the death of a loved one due to violence, by providing a treatment-focused and trauma-informed summer camp at no cost to participants. Counselors offer evidence-based clinical interventions and opportunities for creative expression through storytelling, art, music, and movement.
