The Rev. Dr. Shari Prestemon is acting associate general minister and co-executive of global ministries for the United Church of Christ. Prestemon’s faith journey was shaped by experiences with the ministries she supports in her current role. Those experiences include serving as a peace and justice intern in the Philippines, and leading study trips to Palestine and Israel. At Elmhurst, she will lead a conversation with the campus community and other UCC leaders about international issues and the role of education in shaping agents of change.
