On June 13, the Board of Trustees of Elmhurst College passed a resolution in honor of Larry Fricke, naming him Volunteer Emeritus of Elmhurst College.

The resolution celebrates Fricke’s 30 years of serving the College with distinction as a tireless volunteer and part-time employee.

In these roles, Fricke has been a fund raiser, cheerleader and advocate for the College. He has forged long and meaningful relationships between the College and myriad friends, donors and businesses; and also has played an integral role in students’ internship experiences, preparing them for life after Elmhurst. Fricke continues to serve Elmhurst College as a volunteer, even after his official “retirement” last December.
