Rabbi Josh Feigelson is the founder and director of Ask Big Questions, an organization that helps colleges and universities to nurture individuals and communities in healthier habits of civic engagement and civil discourse.
Feigelson will present A Listening Heart: Nurturing a Citizenship of Mutual Responsibility, this year’s Abraham Joshua Heschel lecture, on Tuesday, October 20, at Elmhurst College. In this interactive lecture, Rabbi Feigelson will lead a discussion of Biblical and contemporary sources to reflect on the capacities of our own hearts to listen, trust and empathize with one another, and to build the stronger communities we need today and in the future.
Rabbi Feigelson’s talk will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, in the Founders Lounge of the Frick Center. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, call (630) 617-5186.
