I am a three-time Elmhurst University alumna and a current Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student at the University. As the Interim Director of Nursing Simulation, I develop and facilitate engaging, student-centered learning experiences across the nursing curriculum.

My clinical background is in emergency nursing, with a primary focus on pediatric emergency care. I remain active in clinical nursing practice, which allows me to incorporate current, real-world experiences into the classroom, laboratory, and simulation environments. I also teach emergency nursing and trauma courses through the University of Chicago Medicine, Advocate Christ Medical Center, and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

I am passionate about simulation-based education and integrating meaningful, hands-on activities throughout the nursing curriculum. My goal is to ignite a passion for the science and art of nursing through authentic learning experiences that prepare confident, compassionate, and practice-ready nurses to make a meaningful difference in their patients’ lives.

I am an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Emergency Nurses Association. My professional interests include pediatric emergency nursing, trauma education, simulation-based learning, student engagement, clinical judgment, and preparing future nurses for safe and effective professional practice.
