Clinical Experience and Activities

Real-world experience is a critical part of preparing for a nursing career.

Clinical Experience

At Elmhurst, you’ll benefit from our ideal location in a beautiful suburb 16 miles west of downtown Chicago. Our prelicensure majors and graduate students in the Master’s Entry in Nursing Practice program enjoy abundant opportunities for clinical work in hospitals, public schools, community health centers, and more.

As a junior, senior, or graduate student, you’ll spend time each week immersed in clinical practice where you’ll see your classroom studies in action, work closely with faculty, and gain invaluable experience before graduation
