From jazz combos to chamber music to acoustic guitar, Elmhurst College offers a variety of music camps for the summer of 2019, taught by the College’s outstanding music faculty.
Jazz Combo Camp
June 18–20, 2019
The Jazz Combo Camp is for middle school and high school students looking to expand their knowledge of jazz performance. All instruments are welcome!

Acoustic Guitar Camp
July 8–10, 2019
For students in grades 7–12 looking to further develop their skills and performance abilities on guitar.

Vocal Voyage Camp
July 15–18, 2019
Vocal Voyage Camp is open to high school students. Explore singing through the classical, jazz, musical theater and pop music genres. Learn vocal technique and how to apply it to different styles.
Private lessons and master classes will take place during the camp. In addition, jazz/pop selections will be performed with a live combo, and classical/musical theater selections will be staged and costumed.
- Monday, noon–5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 12:30–5:30 p.m.
- Recital (free and open to the public) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18

July 22–27, 2019
Join us for this one-week comprehensive course of study for the dedicated flutist. Participants will perform and study solo repertoire, orchestral excerpts, technique and professional strategies for success. High school students may also choose to participate in ILMEA audition preparation workshops. Flutists age 14 and older are encouraged to apply.
- Monday–Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Cost: $610 (commuters) or $1,135 (residents)
