Job and Career Resources
The Office of Career Education offers guidance and support as you refine your career goals and prepare to enter the workforce.
Check out our career timeline, which provides a useful roadmap for the suggested steps to take each year. And take advantage of our resources:
- One-on-one meetings with staff help you develop your career goals, craft a strong résumé and conduct effective interviews
- Seminars and workshops on setting a professional path, searching for internships and jobs, and networking with working professionals. Don’t miss our career exploration course (CPP 299 Professional Foundations of Career Development), which provides valuable tips on choosing a career path. Make the most of campus job fairs and interview opportunities.
- ECconnect, our career resource website, where employers post opportunities for internships and full time jobs. We also offer lots of information and strategies for landing internships.
- For alumni: Graduates have lifelong access to career services, whether you’re just starting out, considering a career transition or looking for new challenges in your field. Our alumni services include interview workshops, networking events, career counseling, résumé assistance, job search and interview tips. Contact the Career Education office for more information.
