Dr. Elizabeth Wanka joined Elmhurst University after teaching at a master of occupational therapy and post-professional occupational therapy doctoral degree program. She is a registered and licensed occupational therapist. Her expertise includes working with adults in all areas of acute care and as a pediatric occupational therapist working with children across several areas of practice including early intervention, school therapy and private practice.
Dr. Wanka earned her Post-Professional Doctoral Degree and her Master of Occupational Therapy Degree from Governors State University. Her scholarly activities focus on research related to cultural factors that influence child and family-centered care.
