Degree Completion Program
Admission Requirements

Prospective students must meet the following criteria for admission to the nursing program:

  • Official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended
  • A minimum of 12 course credits (48 semester hours) completed, including three areas of knowledge
    • Students may submit as many as 16 course credits (64 semester hours) of transfer credit
  • Transfer GPA of 2.75 or above
  • Completion of Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Microbiology with a grade of C or better
    • These courses must be recognized by Elmhurst University for transfer credit
  • Completion of a course equivalent to ENG 105, General Psychology and Lifespan Development
  • A current, unencumbered license as a registered professional nurse in the State of Illinois
