COVID-19 Updates

Read the latest regarding our Fall Term opening.

Welcome to Elmhurst University!

Orientation at Elmhurst University is a great opportunity to explore, meet new people, get accustomed to college life, and build friendships that can last a lifetime.

First-Year and Transfer Students

Due to concerns around COVID-19, we have moved our Orientation programs online this year. While you will meet your class virtually for the first time, the pillars of our program remain. Through this two-day program, you will examine your beliefs, build academic skills and become a part of the Elmhurst University community.

You will have the chance to meet your peers through a class-wide icebreaker game, hear from important keynote speakers, learn about the campus and so much more! Please view the documents below for a detailed schedule and more information about your transition to Elmhurst University!

Then, it’s time to begin the year! If you are going to be living on campus, find out more about moving into the residence halls, and make sure you know about our COVID-19 testing policy for the Fall Term.

Weeks of Welcome

After Orientation officially ends, get ready for a September to remember—with more activities designed to build community and get you involved. Our Weeks of Welcome are a campus tradition.
