Orientation

Welcome to Elmhurst College!

Orientation at Elmhurst College is a great opportunity to explore, meet new people, get accustomed to college life, and build friendships that can last a lifetime.

First-Year Students

Our four-day Orientation program is full of excitement. Through service projects, team-building exercises and more, you examine your beliefs, build academic skills and become a part of the Elmhurst College community. The College will send you a brochure with the full schedule and details beforehand.

Transfer Students

Transfer students enjoy their own unique Orientation experience that helps ease the transition to a new environment. Also, they learn about all of our resources and opportunities. It’s a chance to make connections with faculty and staff to discover what Elmhurst College is all about.

We invite you to participate in all the activities and programs for all four days, such as a service project, challenge adventure course, and time to meet other students and talk with faculty!

Weeks of Welcome

After Orientation officially ends, you’ll enjoy several weeks of activities designed to build community and get you involved. From the end of August through Fall Term, Weeks of Welcome offers video screenings, lectures, social gatherings, service projects, religious activities and much more.
