College Hosting Invitational Juried Art Exhibition until May 27

April 12, 2017 | by the Office of Communications and Public Affairs

The annual Spring Invitational Juried Student Exhibition highlights the accomplishments of Elmhurst College art students doing exceptional work.

This year, the exhibition includes artwork in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpting, ceramics, graphic design and digital art.

Entries range from modern—including innovative student-designed ad campaigns—to more traditional works, such as beautifully elaborate collages and ceramic pieces. Prizes will be awarded by artist Eleanor Spiess-Ferris, who currently is featured in South Shore Art’s renowned Outstanding Midwest Artist Series.

The annual Spring Invitational Juried Student Exhibition runs until May 27 in the Founders Lounge of the Frick Center. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
