The Elmhurst College Gospel Choir will bring gospel, inspirational and a variety of other music to the campus and community when it hosts its Gospel Extravaganza on March 7.
Special guest performers include Joshua’s Troop, led by pastors Clay Evans and Charles Jenkins. The troop comprises more than 50 members whose academic and social achievements allow them to be a part of this dynamic and uplifting group. Their performances combine urban and hip-hop music with contemporary gospel. The Elmhurst College Gospel Choir and Chicago Mass also will perform.
The Gospel Extravaganza will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, in Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and the public is welcome to attend.
