Deirdre Zerilli

Dr. Zerilli has been working at Elmhurst University as a lecturer since Fall 2019. During this time, she has taught numerous classes including public speaking, interpersonal communication, communication in contexts, intercultural communication and public relations. In Spring 2024, she was promoted to senior lecturer and continues to teach new courses, including a First Year Seminar course in Fall 2024. Dr. Zerilli’s research interests focus on stigma, appearance and interpersonal relationships, both within and outside of the workplace.
