David McCurdy, MDiv, DMin, BCC has taught Religious Studies courses on ethics and health care for over 30 years. He has worked in hospitals and at the Park Ridge Center for the Study of Health, Faith, and Ethics as a chaplain, ethics consultant, editor, researcher, and administrative leader. As a United Church of Christ clergyperson, he is also a former chaplain at Elmhurst College. He is coauthor of the award-winning book Organizational Ethics in Health Care: Principles, Cases, and Practical Solutions, and has published many articles and several book chapters. He is a former member of Illinois’ Medical Cannabis Advisory Board. He regularly teaches REL 332 Religious Ethics and Health Care.
