Your welcome to Elmhurst University extends throughout the first month of classes with the Weeks of Welcome. Enjoy all the exciting programming we have on tap as you get started in the new school year.

Weeks of Welcome (WOW) features a variety of events and experiences that you can participate in—either virtually or in person—during the entire month of September. Please look through the whole schedule, because many of the virtual events require advance registrations.

Virtual Healthy Relationship Media Evaluation
2:00–3:00 p.m.

  • Participants will be shown clips from popular shows and movies, depicting a variety of relationship dynamics. Then we will discuss the behaviors that are identifiable as healthy or unhealthy. Activities and games will be provided to help engage participants to identify these behaviors. There will be further discussion, about how to interpret those behaviors and how someone might intervene or support those involved.
