Dr. Paunan joined Elmhurst University in 2024. She is a double alumna of Elmhurst University, completing both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the institution. She earned her doctorate of nursing practice degree at Chamberlain University, focusing on organizational leadership.
Dr. Paunan is a certified nurse educator (NLN) and has an extensive background in higher education, serving as both a faculty member and academic leader. She has taught in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs using a variety of instructional modalities. Her current areas of interest are leadership and educational technologies to support student success.
