Jennifer Bailey teaches research methods, clinical and counseling psychology, and senior capstone, among other courses. She has been drawn to research questions that inform our understanding of clients and improve clinical practice, completing research in areas such as ethical and competent therapeutic practices, psychological diagnostic decisions, and implicit and explicit attitudes toward serious mental illness. Her current dissertation research is a behavioral assessment of the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Mrs. Bailey has been drawn to research questions that inform our understanding of clients and improve clinical practice, completing research in areas such as ethical and competent therapeutic practices, psychological diagnostic decisions, and implicit and explicit attitudes towards serious mental illness. Her current dissertation research is a behavioral assessment of the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has a research lab with students focusing on coding procedures for ACT adherence by the therapists and ACT consistent behaviors by the clients.
