Houses

Elmhurst University has 14 houses for student living located on Myrtle Avenue, Prospect Avenue, Alexander Boulevard and Walter Street. They offer an independent living community for upper-division students.

Number of Residents: 56

Type of Residence: Four occupants with two or three bedrooms.

Furniture: Twin extra-long beds, desks, desk shelves, desk chairs, bookshelves, dressers, dining room table with chairs, stove and refrigerator.

Phone/Internet/Cable: Residents are responsible for the selection of a service provider, installation and billing arrangements with the service provider. Students are expected to complete a Cable and Internet Service Agreement as a part of the Roommate Agreement. There is no resident technology fee assessed to students in these units.

Parking: Driveway (if applicable) or campus lots.

Laundry: Access cards will be issued, one per house, to the nearest residence hall for the purpose of using laundry facilities.

Dining Plan: Optional. Students may select from any of the four available dining plans.

Extras: Lawn maintenance and utilities included in housing cost.
