Sandra McCormick
Sandra McCormick, Ph.D., R.N.
Assistant Professor, Nursing and Health Sciences
Dr. McCormick received her baccalaureate of science in nursing from St. Louis University. She received her Ph.D. in nursing from Loyola University Chicago, where she examined the relationship between self-management and quality of life in adults with type 2 diabetes.
Her areas of clinical specialty include the emergency department, trauma nursing, and post anesthesia care unit for both adult and pediatric populations.
Her areas of interest include the expanding role of high-fidelity simulation in nursing education and the role of technology in the classroom.
