Emily Navarro

Dr. Navarro received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a concentration in Women and Gender Studies. She researches immigration, with a particular focus on youth and families. Dr. Navarro teaches courses including “Sex and Gender,” “Latina/os in the United States,” and “Social Inequality.”
