Minors in Education

Candidates pursuing licensure in elementary and early childhood education must complete a minor in one of several disciplines. All courses must be three semester hours or more (except as noted) with an earned grade of C (2.0) or higher. Placement test or advanced placement credit will be accepted, if it is transcripted. A previous degree or a second major may be accepted for the minor requirement. Most minors in education lead to an endorsement on a professional educator license.
