Candidates pursuing licensure in elementary education must complete a minor in one of several disciplines. Students may also complete one or more endorsements as part of their major program, minor or as an additional credential.
- All courses must be three semester hours or more (except as noted) with an earned grade of C- (1.7) or higher.
- Placement test or advanced placement credit will be accepted, if it is transcripted. A previous degree or a second major may be accepted for the minor requirement.
- Most minors in education lead to an endorsement on a Professional Educator License (PEL).
