Major in Business Intelligence and Analytics

Today’s world requires flexible and critical thinkers. This program will equip students with the analytical and quantitative skills necessary to transform data into the insights that fuel intelligent, data-driven decision making in business.

Building Your Analytical Toolbox

Students will develop a wide range of analytical skills and tools that can answer and provide insight to key business questions. They will learn the key processes that make up descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analysis that will ultimately support business decision making. As part of this program, students will learn how to use industry standard tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI and more to assist at every level of the analytical process from data collection to sharing and acting on key insights.

Major Requirements

A student majoring in business intelligence and analytics must complete the business core and five additional courses in the following manner (maintaining a C or better):
