Required Courses

Students in Elmhurst’s Generative AI in Business Transformation Graduate Certificate program are required to successfully complete 5 courses for a total of 3.75 credits (15 semester hours).

  • MDS 575 Generative and Applied AI
  • MDS 561 Data Governance and Project Management
  • MDS 578 Azure AI Fundamentals

Program Format

The graduate certificate program can be completed online or on campus in as little as one year. Students complete coursework through eight-week courses.

If a student chooses to go on and complete the MBA, the first four courses of the certificate program apply toward their MBA degree.

Admission Requirements

Applicants for the graduate certificate must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college.

To apply for the certificate program, complete the application for graduate admission and follow the instructions for graduate students. Those wishing to complete the additional coursework to earn an MBA, must apply following all the admission requirements for the master’s degree program.
